Purchased this case when I got the Nuvi200 as a gift. This is my second speck case, the first one is on my iPod. In addition to using this GPS while driving I planned on using this outside my vehicle.

Everyone knows waht happens when you handle small electronics...they fall and eventually break. This case covers the unit, offers excellent bump/drop protection and still allows access to all the ports. My Nuvi has taken at least 3 drops from standing height, still works perfectly and has no scratches. This case will protect your investment. -- A must have
Opened it up, put it on - fits great. The clip fit onto my Nuvi 260 with the skin on, and the window mount fit that too (Speck claim it fits the 260 on their website, although Amazon's site doesn't reflect that). Perfect.

But then I tried to plug in a USB cable to the USB port. Nothing lined up, so I had to remove the skin every time I wanted to connect to the computer, or recharge the unit. Is mine the only one like this? I didn't see a single other review that mentions this.

After about an hour with a file and utility knife, it all fits. But there's no way I could return it now. I wound up shaving about 1/4" from the opening for the USB port to make it fit.

Otherwise, though, a decent product. Somebody in QC needs to pay more attention, though (or redesign it). It would be a simple fix for them, but requires a little time and patience for me to do. -- Good, but required modification for USB port
This is a quality custom fit rubber protection case! All the external ports, controls and mounting points remain totally accessible. No need to remove the case to use all functions of the unit. Design also provides protection against inadvertent tuning on of the unit. I am confident it would prevent case damage if dropped. Unit still fits in the Case Logic AGPS-2 3.5" case even with the Speck Toughskin on it which shows how snug the Speck Toughskin fits. Well worth the price. -- Excellent Custom Fit
