User Reviews about Navigon 7200T 4.3-Inch Portable GPS Navigation with Bluetooth - Text-to-Speech - and Free Traffic Alerts

works ok for the most part. no instrustion so you kind of have to figure it out as you go.had it just over a year and had to reset it about 10 times, sometimes in the middle of travel. this sucks because you need a end of a paper clip to reset it and most people probably dont carry them in their car.bought it in 1st quarter of 2009 but it came with 4th quarter 2008 map. would of had to pay to update the map. not worth the price i think unless there has been major construction in your area. screen resolution is great. sometimes the talking to turn can be annoying when you know a better way to get around traffic and it thinks otherwise. -- should have gone with a garmin
bought this for my parents for christmas. good unit for the price. gets you in the general area but up in the mountains not so accurate. -- gps
Pros
Rated 4.5 out of 5.
Good looking, and work very good.
Lane assistance is the best feature they have in this GPS
Much more excellent features.

Cons
Software boots slow when you turn on after being turned off.
Letters are bit small to read the sign on the GPS while driving.
-- Excellent GPS
I purchased the Navigon 7200T in Dec. 2008. At the time it was the only GPS I could find with Free Lifetime Traffic. I wanted traffic and no monthly charges. The 7200T has always delivered on that function very well, right out of the box. Most of the con's I have are the same as others have voiced. It's not as easy to see and hear as my wife's TOMTom. The Navigon has more features than the TT such as voice activation, and blue-tooth. I find the TT somewhat more user friendly on such things as touch sensitivity and set-up. I have had some software issues, such as it crashes every 3 or 4 hours on a trip. I can reset it or turn it off and back on and it works OK. We've had the TT for about the same length of time and it's never crashed or failed in any way. I think the Navigon was a good deal in 2008 for $249.00, however I just ordered a TT with lifetime maps and traffic for less than $200. I will keep my Navigon as it's still a good GPS, or give it to one on the kids. If the TTXXL540TM works as well as the two year old TT and delivers the traffic as well as the Nav7200T, I'll be in "high cotton". I like to buy American, if I could have found a Garmin with life-time maps and traffic, for around $200 I probably would have given that a shot. Unfortunately I couldn't find one. -- Best value for the money at the time of purchase due to lifetime traffic
