I've had a Garmin Nuvi for about 2 years now and found it unbelievably frustrating that the car adapter wouldn't POWER the unit. THANK GOODNESS for this Gilsson unit. It powers and charges it simultaneously allowing me to jump in the car and USE my Garmin w/o having to worry about it being pre-charged! FABULOUS. My only 'ding' on the product is that the connection is a bit loose but doesn't fall out so works fine and that the 90degree connector happens to go the opposite way than the way I prefer it - but again, it works fine anyway - so really, no complaints!!!! -- Finally, a car power SOLUTION for Garmin Nuvi 760
I plugged this into my Magellan and started using it. You cant beat it for the price. -- Happy Customer!!
I think this is constructed better than the original. The tip doesn't come off. Very satisfied with this purchase. -- Plug In
