After purchasing the 1370T, I used the Garmin website to update the software and apply some map updates. Garmin provides a downloadable application that made the process easy to do. We used the 1370T over a week in Belgium, and after the first day, I knew I would have gotten lost without it. Some observations are:
a) both inputting specific addresses and navigating to special sites worked very reliably;
b) the 1370T also provided alerts for the numerous traffic cameras used throughout Belgium. When displaying detailed information on the screen, it displays both the speed limit at that moment and the car's actual speed so I could determine if I was OK with just a brief glance at the display.
c) there was one time where the unit momentarily locked up and then rebooted itself; however, it then continued to operate as well as before.

I definitely recommend this unit to anyone who is going to be traveling in Europe. I think the key to its reliability is to ensure that you have downloaded the latest software version and map updates prior to heading overseas. -- Works Pretty Well in Europe
I selected this model as we needed something to help us navigate the city while living abroad, however would also be functional back in the States on trips and once we return. This is the perfect product. I had spent a bit of time going back and forth between products and their select features as I wanted to best in addition to a product that would be reliable.
