User Reviews about Garmin nüvi 1200 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator
I've had this over a year now and rarely use it. No matter where I am it will give directions to a highway even if it is a longer way. As others say, you are told "turn here" when it is too late or impossible to get into that lane. Wish it had a route planner. The sound is good and so is the screen, but it does fall off the window all the time - the suction holder isn't very good. In my opinion it was a waste of money or I should have spent more so I could have a route planner. When you punch in the address you have no idea where this is going to take you, and it has directed me through some pretty nasty areas, I think that is the most frustrating part - not knowing where it is taking you. I feel like I'm driving with a bag over my head. If you find something better, buy it. -- Not happy
It size is very good because you can put it in your pocket and walk with it. -- A good gadget !
I purchased a different Garmin for my parents which cost 3 times as much as this one. I loved the fetures so when I was looking for one I went straight for Garmin. This one is so much smaller and easy to store away even in your pocket. It performs the same as the bigger models.Size does matter. -- Worth it
I have enjoyed using this device. As a Realtor, I know where most of the streets are in our small town, but when showing in other counties, it has been a life saver. -- I only paid $102 and feel it is worth every bit of it.
I had been looking for a GPS for a while and ran across this model. At $104.00 it is hard to beat. I really like all of the features. -- Easy to use and very affordable
