Works as advertised. The stock TOMTOM mount is not long enough to work with the dashpad that I had. This one does. -- Works great
Bought product to secure my new TomTom GPS on a friction-fit dashboard support.
TomTom comes with a quite decent suction-device for windshield mounting, but that is illegal in California.
Unit does exactly what it claimed to do and that at a great price.

Great product, even better price. Original kept falling off because of limited suction but this works as expected - it stays put. -- Better than the original TomTom mount
